To acquire the Hero Cape for Minecraft: Java & Bedrock Edition, players must first have played Minecraft Dungeons. Following this, they need to log into Minecraft Dungeons 2 before December 31, 2026. Completing this action will add the Hero Cape to the player’s Mojang account, making it usable across both the main Minecraft game and Minecraft Dungeons 2.
The Hero Cape itself is a distinctive red fabric with yellow highlights, featuring a Minecraft Dungeons icon. It is a purely cosmetic item and provides no functional benefits to the player.
Previously, the Hero Cape was an exclusive item within Minecraft Dungeons. Players could obtain it by purchasing the Hero Edition of the game or a separate Hero Pass.
