Huawei Unveils New Watch Fit 5 Smartwatches Globally
Huawei has launched its new Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro smartwatches globally. These devices expand Huawei’s mid-range offerings in the fitness tracking space.
The Watch Fit 5 series is positioned to compete in the fitness tracker market, providing an alternative to other established smartwatches, including those from Apple.

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 is priced at £159.99. Its Pro sibling, the Watch Fit 5 Pro, carries a price tag of £249.99. These new models fit into Huawei’s wearable lineup between the budget-friendly Huawei Band 11 and more premium smartwatches.
The Watch Fit 5 Pro features a 1.92-inch flexible AMOLED display. This display boasts an adaptive 1-60 Hz LTPO refresh rate and up to 3000 nits of peak brightness, protected by 2.5D sapphire glass. It also includes NFC for payments, advanced health monitoring features like ECG analysis, and a battery life of up to 10 days.
Meanwhile, the standard Watch Fit 5 offers an AMOLED display with up to 2500 nits brightness and NFC payment support. Both models incorporate scientific sleep evaluation, enhanced heart rate monitoring, and mini-workout modes.
Additionally, Huawei unveiled other devices alongside the Watch Fit 5 series. These include the Watch GT Runner 2 Racing Legend, an upgrade with more accurate GPS tracking, and the Watch Ultimate Design Spring Edition, which is presented as a high-end fashion accessory.
The Huawei Health app supports these wearables, offering personalized advice based on collected data, including actionable guidance on improving sleep quality. Both Watch Fit 5 models can operate for up to 10 days on a single charge, depending on usage.
