Epic Games introduced new Loot Hacker Sprites to Fortnite with the launch of its Chapter 7 Season 4 Override update on August 20, 2026. These collectibles offer players new in-game elements.
The addition of Loot Hacker Sprites aligns with the season’s theme of a corrupted system, digital interference, and a cyberspace-inspired aesthetic. They provide new gameplay effects and challenges for players.

Loot Hacker Sprites are characterized by a bluish color tint and scanning lines across their appearance. Players can acquire these Sprites by searching Chests, entering Cheat Codes, trading with friends, and eliminating enemies. Furthermore, collecting them boosts Loot Hack chances by 20% when searching Chests.
A specific variant, the Loot Hacker Crown Sprite, requires players to master the Gold Crown Sprite by winning a match with it equipped. This process follows a specific unlock order: Base, Cheat Master, Gold, and then Loot Hacker.
The Chapter 7 Season 4 Override update is available across multiple platforms. These include PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS, Android, and PC via the Epic Games Store, GeForce Now, and Amazon Luna.
The Override season also features a broader focus on video game crossovers, integrating characters from franchises such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man. The game map received an overhaul, introducing new areas like the Green Hill Zone. More details on the season can be found on the Epic Games official website.
