The Honkai Star Rail 4.3 update, titled “The Lethe Below the Living,” is scheduled to launch today, May 31, 2026, for North American servers, introducing the new antagonist Asat Pramad and playable character Mortenax Blade.
This significant update expands the popular space fantasy RPG’s narrative, bringing a key villain and a new character into focus for players. Maintenance will precede the rollout, which concludes on June 1, 2026, for global servers.

For North American servers, the update will be released on May 31, 2026, at 8 PM PST. Players in other regions can expect the update to go live on June 1, 2026, at 11 AM CST. A five-hour maintenance period will precede the launch, starting at 3 PM PST on May 31 for NA servers and 6 AM CST on June 1 for other regions. Following the update, players who were Trailblaze Level 4 or above before maintenance will receive 300 Stellar Jades as compensation.
Asat Pramad is identified as a Lord Ravager and a primary antagonist within the game’s Planarcadia storyline. He is an Emanator of Nanook, the Destruction, and is known as the arch-nemesis of the Aeon Aha, the Elation. Asat Pramad is characterized as a “chessmaster” who employs strategic destruction and psychological torment. The update continues the Planarcadia narrative, where the Trailblazer and the newly introduced Mortenax Blade will confront Asat Pramad’s influence and the seal of the Aeon Voracity. The “land of elation” is also connected with the deceased Aeon of Voracity.
Mortenax Blade, a new 5-star character, will debut in the update, offering new gameplay opportunities. Players can find more information about the game and its updates on the Honkai Star Rail official website. Furthermore, details regarding the developer are available on the HoYoverse official site.
