Xiaomi has finally launched the Mi A3 in India. The Mi A3 has already seen an initial launch in Spain last month. This marks Xiaomi’s third Android One device, furthering its partnership with Google.
Just like the previous Android One devices from Xiaomi, the Mi A3 offers great value for its price. The Mi A3 offers a 6.088-inch HD+ display, which is slightly larger than the 5.99-inch display of last year. Xiaomi also offers a Super AMOLED panel on the Mi A3, versus the LTPS LCD of the Mi A2. They also reinforced the display with Gorilla Glass 5.
Probably, the best way to take advantage of that Super AMOLED display is to cram the fingerprint sensor underneath it. Yup, the Mi A3 is currently the cheapest smartphone to include an in-display sensor.
Inside, the Mi A3 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage storage. It is also expandable now via micro SD card unlike it predecessor. The 4GB/64GB configuration asks for $182 (Rs 13,000), while the 6GB/128GB top configuration will set you back $224 (Rs 15,000).
For the imaging, the Mi A3 inludes a triple-camera setup. The main sensor offers up to 48MP resolution with f/1.8 wide-angle lens, while the second sensor is an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 ultrawide-angle lens. Moreover, Xiaomi pairs the main sensor with 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor for portraits. As for the selfie camera, the phone boasts a 32MP f/2.0 shooter with HDR capability.
Finally, the Mi A3 packs a 4030mAh of battery, with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
