Alienware has released its new 34-inch AW3425DW ultrawide gaming monitor, aiming to build on its previous OLED display success, according to a recent review by Beebom.
The Alienware AW3425DW serves as a successor to the AW3423DW, a monitor credited with initiating the OLED monitor trend. This latest model seeks to replicate that impact with updated specifications for competitive gaming.

Key Specifications
The Alienware AW3425DW features a 34-inch (34.2-inch viewable) curved QD-OLED panel with an 1800R curvature. It offers a WQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution and a 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio.
Performance enhancements include a 240 Hz refresh rate, an upgrade from the 175 Hz of its predecessor, and a 0.03 ms gray-to-gray (GTG) response time. The monitor supports NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, and VESA AdaptiveSync technologies to reduce screen tearing and stuttering.
Display characteristics include a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and a color gamut covering 99.3% of the DCI-P3 space. It achieves a typical SDR brightness of 250 nits and a peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits (at 3% Average Picture Level).
Connectivity and Availability
Connectivity options on the Alienware AW3425DW include two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, and a USB hub with one USB-B upstream, one USB-A downstream, and one USB-C downstream port with 15W charging.
The monitor is available for purchase, with prices starting around $649.99 from some retailers, though Dell’s official price at launch was approximately $799.99.
