Additional Google Pixel 3D emoji for the upcoming Android 17 operating system have leaked online, following an initial official preview earlier this week.
These new Noto 3D emoji represent a significant visual overhaul for digital communication on Android devices, aiming to provide a more expressive user experience.

The leak, attributed to RKBDI, showcases approximately 250 of the over 4,000 redesigned emoji. Google officially unveiled the Noto 3D emoji during “The Android Show: I/O Edition 2026” on May 13, emphasizing their “hand-modeled” and “true 3D object” nature, not AI-generated.
The company stated the redesign intends to bring “a touch of physicality” to chats, addressing how previous designs “often fall flat” in expressing emotions online.
These updated emoji are a core feature of Android 17, expected to roll out later this year, initially on Google Pixel phones. Older Pixel generations receiving the Android 17 update are also anticipated to support these new emoji. For more details on the Android operating system, visit Android.com.
Furthermore, the new designs will be supported in Google applications such as Gboard, YouTube, and Gmail. Other Android devices will receive the 3D emoji update at a later date following the Pixel rollout. This marks the biggest visual change to Google’s emoji set since the “blob emojis” of the early 2010s. Explore more about Google’s mobile innovations on the official Google Pixel website.
