Epic Games has released the Excalibur Warframe skin in Fortnite, allowing players to acquire the cosmetic without direct V-Bucks expenditure through a special promotion. The new skin, which has been anticipated by players, became available on July 11, 2026.
This crossover event offers Fortnite players the opportunity to add the Warframe Excalibur skin to their locker as a gift with purchase. This method bypasses the typical in-game currency requirement, aligning with Epic Games’ strategy to promote its storefront.
How to Obtain the Excalibur Skin
To receive the Excalibur Warframe skin for free, players must purchase any eligible Warframe DLC or add-on through the Epic Games Store. Upon completing a qualifying purchase, the Excalibur Outfit is automatically granted to the player’s Fortnite account. This promotion began on July 11, 2026, at 7 PM ET.
Players who had previously purchased an eligible Warframe item through the Epic Games Store before the promotion started also automatically received the Excalibur skin. Epic Games maintains a list of eligible items on its “Gift With Purchase” page within the Epic Games Store. Some reports indicate that the Wukong Qitian Collection, priced at $14.99, is among the more affordable qualifying purchases.
Alternative Purchase Option
For players preferring a direct acquisition, the Excalibur skin is also available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop. It became available for 1,500 V-Bucks starting July 11, 2026, at 8 PM ET. The skin is part of the Warframe set and was introduced in Chapter 7, Season 3.
However, the direct purchase option for the Excalibur Outfit is time-limited. The item is purchasable in the Fortnite Item Shop until July 18, 2026, at 5:00 PM local time (GMT-07:00).
