The presence of the Golden Mask character looms over the entire story, with the game deliberately dropping hints and misleading information regarding the villain’s true nature. This narrative approach builds suspense as players uncover the conspiracy at the heart of the State. The game focuses on Bond’s journey to expose a deep conspiracy after a mission ends in tragedy.

007 First Light is an action-adventure title played from a third-person perspective, incorporating elements of combat and stealth. Players can utilize various gadgets and operate different vehicles during missions.

Furthermore, the game offers players flexibility in their approach, allowing them to choose between silent infiltration or direct confrontation.

The title is available on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version scheduled for release in Q3 2026. The game’s theme song, “First Light,” was co-written and performed by Lana Del Rey and David Arnold.

More information about the game can be found on the official IO Interactive website or its listing on Steam. Players can also visit the PlayStation Store for details.
