Google is expected to launch its Pixel 11 phone series in August 2026, with reports indicating a lineup of four devices and significant artificial intelligence (AI) enhancements.
The anticipated August release would position the Google Pixel 11 ahead of Apple’s traditional September iPhone event, a strategy Google has employed in recent generations to capture market attention.

Expected Models and Design
Leaks suggest the Pixel 11 lineup will include a standard Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and a Pixel 11 Pro Fold. While maintaining a familiar overall design, the Pixel 11 is rumored to feature noticeably thinner display bezels and a tweaked all-black camera bar. The standard Pixel 11 may retain a 6.3-inch LTPO AMOLED display.
Hardware and AI Focus
Central to the new series is the expected Tensor G6 chip, which is projected to power the Pixel 11’s AI-focused upgrades. The Pixel 10 series, launched in August 2025, already showcased Google’s commitment to AI with its Tensor G5 chip, enabling features like Magic Cue and real-time call translation. Reports indicate the Pixel 11 could also feature a 5,000mAh battery.
Storage and Pricing Projections
Regarding memory and storage, the Pixel 11 is likely to come with 12GB of RAM. While a 128GB base storage option is possible, there is industry expectation for Google to shift to a 256GB minimum, aligning with moves seen in other flagship devices like the iPhone 17 series. Pricing for the Pixel 11 series has not been officially announced, but estimates suggest it may remain similar to its predecessors, with the Pixel 10 Pro starting around $999 and the Pixel 10 Pro XL at $1,199. The base Pixel 11 could start at $799.
Competitive Landscape
The Pixel 11’s anticipated release follows the iPhone 17, which Apple unveiled in September 2025. The iPhone 17 introduced a bigger, brighter ProMotion display, an A19 chip, and an upgraded camera system. While the Pixel 10 range did not represent a massive overhaul compared to the iPhone 17, Google’s Pixel devices have consistently been recognized for their performance.
Google has not yet sent out official invitations for its “Made by Google” event, but these typically precede the launch by several weeks. Consumers can monitor the official Google Store for updates.
