New photos of the highly-anticipated Nokia 7.2 leaks again, just a little over a week before the announced launch date. Earlier this month, a case render of the Nokia 7.2 was leaked by NPU.
Giving more credence to the existence of the handset is a photo coming from ZEISS employee, Joachim Kuss, which was posted but since then removed from Twitter.
According to Kuss, HMD and ZEISS already demonstrated the new smartphone to some media and tech reporters at ZEISS HQ. He also expressed his excitement of the new Nokia handset saying that he is still bit “overwhelmed” of the capability of today’s smartphone in terms of mobile photography and videography.
A TPU case which allegedly belongs to the Nokia 7.2 also appeared on Twitter just few hours later. This confirmed the à la Lumia 1020 circular camera design, which Nokia Mobile later referred to as a “Nordic design” in a Tweet.
Now, another photos of the Nokia 7.2 surface online, courtesy of TechMesto. While previous leaks just showed the rear of the handset, the new photo reveals the display of the device.
As mentioned, the rear of the device shows a round camera design. It has three cameras on it, with a LED flash. A closer look at the lenses, the phone may have a regular wide-angle primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a depth sensor.
The phone also carries a ZEISS branding, which means HMD is using a ZEISS-certified lenses on all of the cameras. The phone will also have a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, just below the camera plate.
The display will probably be an IPS LCD, but it does have a different waterdrop notch, more finesse. Similar to the one OPPO, and realme implements.
