This upcoming action-adventure game aims to update the foundational Lara Croft adventure with contemporary visuals and gameplay mechanics. It is being co-developed by Crystal Dynamics and Flying Wild Hog, with Amazon Game Studios serving as publisher.
Legacy of Atlantis will launch on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows PCs (via Steam), and Xbox Series X/S. The game utilizes Unreal Engine 5, promising expanded environments, immersive soundscapes, and updated combat and puzzle-solving elements.
The narrative follows adventurer Lara Croft, voiced by Alix Wilton Regan, as she searches for a powerful artifact from the lost civilization of Atlantis. It is designed to continue the unified Tomb Raider timeline, incorporating elements from previous series entries and taking place after Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Pricing for the game’s digital editions includes a standard version at $59.99 and a deluxe version at $69.99 on Steam. Players who pre-order the deluxe edition may gain access to the game two days prior to the official release, on February 10, 2027.
