Nokia Mobile, aka HMD Global, is set to launch new Nokia smartphones at the IFA 2019 in Berlin this coming September 5. So it comes as no surprise to see some of these Nokia devices appearing in benchmarking websites ahead of the announced launch date.
One of the most anticipated device, the Nokia 7.2, has appeared again online. This time, on Geekbench where some of its secrets are spilled. As for the Geekbench database, the upcoming smartphone will come with 4GB RAM, although 6GB RAM model is also expected in some markets.
NokiaMob also notes that the Geekbench results are a bit similar to that of the Nokia 7 Plus, which came with an underclocked Snapdragon 660 SoC from Qualcomm. This may not impress most users, but the Snapdragon 660 SoC is still a very capable processor. The modification might relate to battery optimization.
While no further details were revealed about the Nokia 7.2, there are has been rumors circulating on the internet on what specification will come with it.
Probably, the most intriguing is the triple camera setup on its rear, with ZEISS logo. Closer inspection of the lenses, we assume that one of the two extra cameras comes with ultra-wide angle lens. While the third camera with smaller lens could just be a depth sensor.
As mentioned, Nokia Mobile is set to launch the Nokia 7.2 alongside many other Nokia smartphones and feature phones at the upcoming IFA 2019 in Berlin, Germany on September 5.
