Epic Games has released a new Lois Griffin skin in Fortnite, making the Family Guy character available as part of a Mother’s Day celebration. The skin launched on May 8, 2026, for players in North America, with a May 9 release in other regions.
This addition expands Fortnite’s growing collection of pop culture crossovers, introducing another iconic animated figure into the battle royale. The release is part of a broader “Fox Mother’s Day” event, featuring other animated matriarchs.
The Lois Griffin outfit is a 1-to-1 replication of the character from Family Guy. It is available for 1,500 V-Bucks. Players can also purchase a bundle, estimated at 2,000 V-Bucks, which includes the Lois Griffin Outfit, Lois’ Boxing Gloves Pickaxe, the Piano Woman Emote, and Lois’ Groceries Back Bling. The Piano Woman Emote features Lois playing the Family Guy theme song on a piano.
Other “Animated Moms” skins released concurrently include Peggy Hill from King of the Hill and Linda Belcher from Bob’s Burgers. These new cosmetics are accessible through the in-game Fortnite Item Shop.
