Beatrix the Witch has returned to the Roblox fishing game Fisch for a third straight year, kicking off the FischFright 3 Halloween event on October 17 with Version 2.06. Players can now complete goblin quests, gather Witch’s Ingredients and feed them into Beatrix’s cauldron to climb through five Hex Stages of rewards.
Key points
- Beatrix the Witch sits on Caustic Hallow, the FischFright 3 event island reachable via the Flying Dutchman ship.
- Goblins spawn every five minutes at one of 13 map locations and give out timed challenges like fishing or dancing.
- Completing goblin tasks yields Witch's Ingredients, which raise Hex Energy when deposited in Beatrix's cauldron.
- There are five Hex Stages tied to Bestiary completion percentages, each unlocking rods, bobbers, titles and relics.
- Version 2.06 launched FischFright 3 on October 17, 2026, and Roblox's Halloween event window runs through November 9, 2026.
The event matters for Fisch‘s active player base because the rewards are time-limited. Items like the Boglin Branch Rod and the Eldritch Rod cannot be bought or found through normal gameplay, so players who skip the event lose access once it ends. Roblox’s broader Halloween event window runs through November 9, 2026, giving players a hard deadline to finish their progress.
Finding Beatrix the Witch on Caustic Hallow
Beatrix sits under a tree on Caustic Hallow, the event island added for FischFright 3. To get there, players head south from Moosewood Island until they spot the Flying Dutchman, a green-glowing ship. Boarding it and talking to the captain brings up a “Set Sail!” option that transports players to Caustic Hallow.
Once on the island, players walk left from the central fountain to find Beatrix and the large cauldron sitting in front of her. Dropping Witch’s Ingredients into the cauldron is the only way to raise Hex Energy, the meter that tracks progress toward each Hex Stage reward.
How Goblin Quests Produce Witch’s Ingredients
Ingredients come almost entirely from goblins scattered around the map. According to the Fisch Wiki, three goblins spawn every five minutes across 13 possible locations, including Moosewood, Roslit Bay, Forsaken Shores, Mushgrove, Scoria Reach, Ancient Isle, Lost Jungle, Terrapin, Snowcap Island, Skycrest, Sunstone, Castaway Cliffs and Everturn Forest. That’s a jump from FischFright 2 last year, when only a single goblin spawned at a time and no more than two could exist on the map at once.
Players get a notification once goblins appear, and each one hands out a short, timed task: catch a fish, dance, chat, or answer a trivia question about the holiday. Players have 15 minutes from the spawn to finish the assignment before it expires. Talking to the Youngster Goblin near house 506 kicks off the quest chain, and finishing it rewards the Boglin Branch Rod, 800 Treats and 5,000 XP.
