Fisch players chasing the game’s newest Halloween reward now have a full roadmap to the Omniscient Spinecaster, a rod shaped like a glowing spinal column that arrived with the FischFright 3 update on October 17, 2026. Unlocking it requires reaching Hex Stage V, finishing a chain of nine rituals, and spending Treats on a final ceremony.
Key points
- The Omniscient Spinecaster rod arrived in Fisch with the FischFright 3 update on October 17, 2026.
- Players must reach Hex Stage V and complete nine prior rituals before starting the Omniscient Ritual.
- The rod has 300% luck, infinite weight capacity, 0.05 control and a +50% progress speed bonus.
- The Omniscient Ritual costs 100 Treats and requires offerings split across Jack-o-Lanterns and Skeletal Hands.
- Its Crown of Bones ability boosts the chance of the Omniscient mutation, which multiplies fish value by 10.6x.
The rod matters to players because of what it does once equipped. It carries 300% luck, infinite weight capacity, and a passive ability called Crown of Bones that raises the odds of landing the new Omniscient mutation, which multiplies a fish’s sale price by 10.6 times. For a Halloween event item, that kind of payoff has made it one of the most sought-after rods in the current FischFright 3 lineup. See also: How to Farm Treats Fast in Fisch FischFright 3 Event.
Reaching Hex Stage V
The first gate is Hex Stage V, which requires 80% bestiary completion alongside a buildup of Hex Energy earned by fishing and completing goblin quests. Goblin quests hand out random ingredients that get deposited into the Witch’s cauldron in Caustic Hallow, and each deposit pushes a player’s Hex Energy total higher. Reports on the exact energy threshold vary, with some figures as low as 200 and others as high as 1,000, but reaching Hex Stage V is the hard requirement before any ritual work can begin.
Clearing the Nine Prior Rituals
Rituals are a new mechanic introduced with FischFright 3, performed at the Cemetery on Hollow Caustic Island. Before the Omniscient Ritual becomes available, players have to finish nine earlier ones by talking to the Frankenstein NPC in the graveyard area of Caustic Hallow:
- Hexing Ritual
- Scary Relic Ritual
- Haunted Ritual
- Jack-o-Moon Ritual
- Boglin Ritual
- Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual
- Enhanced Boglin Ritual
- Haunted Cemetery Ritual
- Eldritch Ritual
Several of these unlock rewards on their own. The Dutchman’s Blessing Ritual, for instance, is tied to the separate Dutchman’s Rod, one of six limited rods added this event alongside the Boglin Branch, Eldritch Rod, Webweaver Rod and Doomseeker Rod.
Starting and Completing the Omniscient Ritual
Once the Eldritch Ritual is done and Hex Stage V is reached, players can activate the Jack-o-Lanterns and Skeletal Hands arranged in the ritual circle behind the Frankenstein NPC. The offerings split across two pedestal types: seven items go on the Jack-o-Lanterns, including mutated Jagged Bones and items like the Zombie Nessie and Dark Art Skull, while five go on the Skeletal Hands, including Omniscient Souls and an Omniscient Bone.
