This new Sprite type provides tactical benefits for players navigating the Storm, a critical element of gameplay for survival and strategic positioning.
Players seeking to enhance their in-game capabilities can acquire the Storm Scout Sprite through various methods, including opening Chests or using Cheat Codes. Rare Cheat Codes, specifically blue ones, offer the best chance of finding its base variant. The Storm Scout Sprite can also be leveled up through regular Sprite XP, earned via eliminations, opening containers, and extracting Sprites.
The Storm Scout Sprite activates an “Overdrive” effect after a player takes 10 Storm damage. This effect grants unlimited stamina, faster movement speed, and increased jump height for a duration, starting at 10 seconds and capping at 20 seconds depending on the Sprite’s level. At its maximum rarity, the Storm Scout Sprite can also reveal future Storm Circles on the map, making it valuable for late-game strategy.
Its introduction reflects ongoing changes to the Fortnite Island’s dynamic environment and gameplay mechanics. Three new Storm Scout Sprites, including base, Cheat Master, and Gold variants, were reportedly added to the game on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
