NetEase Games released the Marvel Rivals version 20261022 update on October 22, 2026, at 9 a.m. UTC, adding a new Avengers: Endgame PvE mode where 50 players team up to fight Thanos. The patch also brings Halloween-themed skins, a Times Square tie-in event and several hero bug fixes.
Key points
- Marvel Rivals version 20261022 goes live October 22, 2026 at 9 a.m. UTC with no server downtime.
- The Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame PvE mode pits 50 players against Thanos starting October 24 and runs four weeks.
- Clearing the mode unlocks Captain America's Winter Soldier costume along with other free rewards.
- New store bundles include Black Cat's Fatal Weaver set and Elsa Bloodstone's Gothic Huntress set, available October 23 through November 20.
- Hero fixes target Black Widow's Bite Slam, The Punisher's Dangan Ronin SFX, and costume clipping issues on Doctor Strange, Blade and Thor.
The update requires no server downtime, so players can download it and jump straight back into matches. That matters for a live-service shooter where even short maintenance windows can frustrate players mid-season, and it follows the pattern set by the Marvel Rivals October 15 update, which also shipped without taking servers offline.
Path to Doomsday Brings a 50-Player Raid Against Thanos
The new mode, called Path to Doomsday – Avengers: Endgame, casts players as members of the Avengers assembling to stop Thanos, the Mad Titan. The event period runs from October 22 at 9 a.m. UTC to November 26 at 9 a.m. UTC, but the mode itself does not open until October 22, with actual gameplay starting October 24 and continuing for four consecutive weeks.
Unlike the earlier Avengers: Infinity War PvP mode, the Endgame PvE fight is only playable during scheduled windows each week. The first two sessions are set for October 24: Session 1 runs 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. UTC, and Session 2 runs 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. UTC. NetEase has not published session times for the remaining three weeks of the event yet. See also: Marvel Rivals October 1 Update Adds Cosmic Skins.
