Fisch players chasing the Plush Nessie fish during the game’s FischFright 3 Halloween event have four separate ways to obtain it, ranging from a guaranteed reward to a string of low-odds methods tied to trick-or-treating, casket openings and fishing.
Key points
- Plush Nessie is a Limited+ rarity fish added during the FischFright 3 event in Fisch.
- Reaching 470 Hex Energy at Beatrix's Cauldron grants a guaranteed Plush Nessie reward.
- Trick-or-treating gives a 0.4% chance at Plush Nessie when choosing the Treat option.
- Frightful Caskets, sold for 30 Treats each, carry roughly a 0.1% drop chance.
- Fishing during the Spooky Cemetery admin event gives a 0.5% chance of catching it.
Plush Nessie carries a Limited+ rarity, a tier the game reserves for event-exclusive catches that disappear once the event ends. That scarcity, combined with low drop rates across every method except one, has made it one of the harder targets of FischFright 3 since the event launched October 17 with the game’s version 2.06 update. Guaranteed Route Through Beatrix’s Cauldron
The most reliable way to get Plush Nessie is reaching 470 Hex Energy at Beatrix’s Cauldron, located at Caustic Hallow. Players build up Hex Energy by completing Goblin quests to collect Witch’s Ingredients, then submitting those ingredients to Beatrix. Once a player hits the 470 threshold, Plush Nessie unlocks as a Hex progression reward with no chance element involved. Beatrix has appeared in past Halloween events as the Witch at Moosewood during FischFright 1 and as Beatrix at Crook’s Hallow during FischFright 2, before moving to Caustic Hallow for this year’s event.
