    This is the OnePlus 8, the high-end in the brand (short review)

    This device integrates one of the best screens at the moment; it has 5G connectivity and the Snapdragon 865 processor, Qualcomm’s newest chip.

    Based in China, the OnePlus firm has become very popular in the market, thanks to its complete high-end models. It stands out for manufacturing with quality and power components, integrating dynamic cameras, providing excellent charging systems, and offering high storage capacities. One of the latest builds that have entered our market in the second quarter of this year is the OnePlus 8, whose characteristics are explained below!

    The 8, with 5G connectivity, is lined with the series of two models: the 8 Pro and the 8.

    “It is the most powerful and best-designed series OnePlus has created to date,” says Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus.

    The model has a fluid display screen of 6.55 inches with a cinematic viewing experience and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. It provides a JNCD 0.4 color accuracy index, which ensures that every detail appears natural and real to the user’s eyes. It has a screen ratio of 20: 9, and thanks for the compatibility with HDR 10 and 10+ screens, photos, and videos that offers high clarity. With these display specs, this device has also achieved an A+ rating from DisplayMate.

    Camera

    The OnePlus 8 camera system is made up of three lenses, the main one has Sony’s 48 MP IMX586 sensor and a Spectra 480 image signal processor, which allows it to generate four times more pixels. The device features a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, too, with a 116-degree field of view.

    They are embedded within a single piece of glass that projects slightly above the surface of the body. Right at its base, there are two white LED bulbs, symbolize the model’s brand: the OnePlus logo made in a reflective silver finish.

    The upper left corner of the screen has the front camera, a fully integrated punch hole.

    Performance

    It includes Snapdragon 865 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X55 5G Modem-RF System, which helps deliver multi-gigabit 5G connectivity. With its 12 GB of RAM, users will be able to get a fast multitasking experience and enjoy compelling games. It has 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage offering one of the fastest speeds in the industry.

    Warp Charge 30T fast charge

    The OnePlus 8 comes with an upgraded 4,300mAh battery, which provides 13% more life than previous models. Warp Charge 30T quick charge technology allows you to charge 50% of the battery in 22 minutes, even if the smartphone is in use while charging.

    Design

    With a weight of 180 grams and a thickness of 8 mm, it is one of the most compact and lightweight 5G phones at the moment. It offers several color options such as Onyx Black or Glacial Green and a new variant: Interstellar Glow, which is already on the market.

    The display is of 3D Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a weight of 180g and dimensions of 160.2 x 72.9 x 8.0mm.

    Price

    The OnePlus 8 lineup has three different color models: interstellar brightness, onyx black, and glacier green. All are already for sale at a price of 709 Euros.
