Realme, a phone brand created by OPPO in May of last year, has already been gaining success to respective markets in Asia. While the company is now separated from OPPO, we can’t deny the fact that the OPPO DNA is still running in its veins. There’s that ColorOS, and smartphone designs that resemble that of the OPPO offerings. Now, another feature from its sister company is coming its way to Realme smartphones.
The company recently confirmed that the launch of the Realme 3 will be on the 4th of March. And as expected from Madhav Sheth, CEO for Realme India, there will be some spills along the way. For all we know, the handset will have a Mediatek Helio P70 SoC. So it’ll be on the same league with the Realme U1 which was launched last year.
There were also rumors about the 48-megapixel camera, which I doubt will ever happen. Sheth has already expressed via its official Twitter account that the company will focus more on software and hardware optimization. Included in the tweet is a photo which he claims to have been taken with a 48-megapixel camera, and a 13-megapixel shot with a Realme handset.
Now going back to the Realme 3, the company revealed via its official Instagram page that the Nighscape mode will be made available for the device. If you’re not familiar with Nightscape mode, it is one of the many features of the OnePlus devices. Just a quick note, OnePlus is also a sister company of Realme so it seems plausible. Both the company belongs to BBK Electronics alongside vivo and OPPO.
Currently, all the existing Realme devices don’t include any Night mode feature. So this will be a step up. Hopefully, we get to see this also with the existing Realme handsets. Most especially on the Realme 2 Pro.
