OPPO is set to launch its next generation Reno handsets in India today. OPPO has been teasing the handset for quite awhile, which is expected to feature the same optical zoom functionality as the previous Reno flagship handset.
Now, just a day ahead of the official launch, full specifications of the “three” new Reno devices was posted on Twitter.
According to Ishan Agarwal, the three new Reno devices will have almost the same features, except for the SoC, screen-to-body ratio, and nits of brightness.
The Reno 2 will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC, while the Reno 2Z will launch with MediaTek Helio P90 SoC. The Reno 2F, on the other hand, will be powered by MediaTek Helio P70 SoC.
All three smartphones will feature the same 6.5-inch full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED display from Samsung. However, the Reno 2 will have an impressive 93.1 screen-to-body ratio (with 500 nits of brightness), whilst the other two handsets will have a 91.1% screen-to-body ratio (430 nits of brightness). All without notches. In comparison, the Galaxy Note 10 only has 91% screen to body ratio, yet that thing already looks to blend on anywhere you point it out.
The new Reno 2 devices will also have the same camera setup. We should expect a 48MP main camera, 8MP sensor with wide-angle lens, a 13MP telephoto lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there will be a 16MP camera.
Also, all three phones will pack a decent 4000mAh of battery, with support for VOOC 3.0.
