Fortnite Treasure Hunters Quests and Rewards Guide

Epic Games has rolled out weekly quests for Fortnite's Treasure Hunters mini season, each offering 20,000 XP toward Captain X rewards.

Epic Games has released a full slate of weekly quests for Fortnite Treasure Hunters, the pirate-themed mini season that launched November 1 alongside update v43.00. Each quest batch rewards players with 20,000 XP, with new quests dropping every Thursday at 9 a.m. ET through the season’s run.

Key points

  • Fortnite Treasure Hunters launched November 1, 2026, with update v43.00 and runs through December 5, 2026.
  • Each weekly quest batch awards 20,000 XP, with new quests releasing every Thursday at 9 a.m. ET.
  • Week 0 quests include consuming a Devil Fruit and opening Sprite Chests using Wanted Posters.
  • Captain X rewards unlock by completing weekly quest milestones, topping out at the Captain X outfit for 24 quests.
  • Players need the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass, which costs 800 V-Bucks, to claim Captain X rewards.

The mini season bridges the gap before Chapter 7’s finale event on December 5, giving players a condensed set of objectives tied to a new map, Crossbones Isle, and a One Piece crossover. Completing quests remains the fastest way to level up the Battle Pass and unlock cosmetic rewards tied to Captain X, the mysterious figure behind the season’s central mystery.

Week 0 Kickstart Quests Cover the Basics

The opening batch of quests introduces players to the season’s new mechanics. Tasks include consuming a Devil Fruit, using a Rift service or hiring a specialist across different matches, digging up Sprite Chests with Sprite Wanted Posters, and finding a cannon loaded with a cannonball or player. Each of the four Week 0 quests pays out 20,000 XP.

Week 1 Quests Target Named Locations and Boss Fights

Week 1 ties several objectives to the season’s featured characters. Players must damage A$AP Rocky with two different weapons, travel 500 meters in the air while under low-gravity effects, and eliminate five opponents with shotguns. Other tasks include collecting 10 Epic or better weapons, contacting Slone on the Slone Phone in Plunder Port, and visiting three named locations in a single match. The A$AP Rocky boss encounter follows the rapper’s earlier Fortnite teaser hinting at his role in the collaboration.

Week 2 Brings Lil Uzi Vert and Vault Loot

The second weekly batch adds Lil Uzi Vert to the quest list, requiring players to defeat him once and hit opponents 75 times with his Lil’ SMG or other SMGs. Additional tasks include dancing on a drivable car, dealing 500 damage to opponents from above, extracting Sprites three times in a single match, looting 20 items from a vault, and dealing 500 damage with Legendary or better weapons. Epic has not yet detailed the specific requirements for Weeks 3 and 4, though the weekly release pattern suggests those quests will follow the same 20,000 XP structure when they go live on their respective Thursdays.
