Rockstar Releases 39 New GTA 6 Screenshots Before Launch

Rockstar Games published 39 new screenshots from GTA 6 on Nov. 5 as part of a collection it calls the Launch Gallery, giving players their clearest look yet at Jason, Lucia and the world of Leonida two weeks before release.

The drop matters because it is likely one of the last major previews before the game arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on Nov. 19. Rockstar has used near-weekly reveals to build anticipation since confirming the launch date, and this gallery functions as a final visual checkpoint before digital preloads open on Nov. 10 at roughly 212 gigabytes.

Jason and Lucia, Together and Apart

The gallery opens with images of the two playable protagonists together, robbing banks, dancing at a nightclub and sitting under Vice City’s sunset. One shot includes supporting characters Brian Heder and his wife, Lori Heder, dancing alongside the pair, a detail easy to miss without a close look.

Separate sets focus on each character individually. Lucia Caminos appears holding a weapon in most of her screenshots, often in standoffs with police, a pattern that has carried through nearly every image Rockstar has released of her so far. One frame shows an unidentified blonde-haired character riding in a car with her, though it is unclear whether that is one of Jason’s many disguises or a new face.

Jason Duval’s Army Past and Street Life

Jason Duval’s screenshots lean on confrontation, showing him facing off against non-player characters with weapons drawn. Several images reference his military background, echoing footage first seen in the GTA 6 launch trailer. Others show him weightlifting or racing an unnamed companion, alongside more scenes involving police.

Vice City’s Crowds and Hidden Cameos

More than 10 of the new images focus on Vice City itself, its streets, nightlife and background characters. One screenshot appears to show rapper Kodak Black among the city’s non-player characters, while another nods to Franklin and his dog Chop from Grand Theft Auto 5, depicting an NPC holding a dog on a chain.

The city scenes show dense crowds of pedestrians, strip clubs, barber shops and tattoo parlors rendered in detail, according to the gallery Rockstar released. The population density on display exceeds what previous entries in the series have shown.

Port Gellhorn, Leonida Keys and Grassrivers

The remaining screenshots cover three other locations across the state of Leonida. Leonida Keys images show aquatic life, while Port Gellhorn shots feature one of the game’s strip clubs. Grassrivers screenshots focus on local wildlife and the kinds of non-player characters players will encounter there.

Rockstar closed the gallery with a short message: “See you in Leonida on November 19,” a line that suggests this may be the studio’s last major content release before launch. The company’s official social media post framed the gallery as marking two weeks until release, adding that GTA 6 is “now officially only two weeks away.”
