Fisch players can now track down four types of potions that temporarily boost luck, lure speed and even duplicate caught fish, according to the game’s current item system. The potions come in multiple tiers, each with its own duration and effect strength, and can be earned through several in-game methods rather than bought outright with real money.
Key points
- Fisch currently has four potion types: Luck, Lure Speed, Glitched and All Season.
- The Personal Aquarium gives hourly potion chances, with Glitched Potion the rarest at 0.25 percent.
- Tier 1 Luck Potion gives a 1.5x luck boost for 15 minutes; Tier 3 reaches 2x for 60 minutes.
- Glitched Potion duplicates caught fish, excluding Divine Secrets, for 10 minutes per Tier 1 brew.
- Potions of the same type do not stack, but different potion types stack together.
Potions matter in Fisch because catching rarer fish often depends on stacking temporary buffs on top of permanent gear and enchantments. A player chasing a high-luck-requirement catch, for example, can lean on a Luck Potion rather than waiting on base odds alone. Knowing where each potion comes from, and how the tier system scales its effects, can speed up grinding for currency and rare catches.
The Four Potion Types and What They Do
There are currently four potions in Fisch: the Luck Potion, Lure Speed Potion, Glitched Potion and All Season Potion. Each is tied to a different part of the fishing loop.
- Luck Potion: Tier 1 gives a 1.5x luck boost for 15 minutes. Tier 3 raises that to a 2x boost lasting 60 minutes, brewed using ingredients such as Megalodon, Tartaruga, Great White Shark, Great Hammerhead Shark, Voltfish and Alligator.
- Glitched Potion: Tier 1 duplicates every fish caught, excluding Divine Secrets, with a chance at the rare Glitched mutation, for 10 minutes.
- Lure Speed Potion: Speeds up how fast a lure attracts fish. Reported Tier 1 values vary across guides, ranging from roughly 15 percent to 30 percent faster lure speed depending on the source, so the exact current numbers are unconfirmed.
- All Season Potion: Tier 1 removes the luck penalty normally applied to fish that prefer a different season, lasting 3 hours, plus a 30 percent lure boost for 2 hours. It can only be brewed right after a season change, with a 20 percent chance of becoming available.
Buffs from two potions of the same type will not stack, but different potion types combine. A Tier 1 Luck Potion and a Lure Speed Potion, for instance, can run at the same time.
