Like the previous OnePlus 6, the OnePlus 6T comes with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Backed up by 6/8 GB free RAM, the storage of both the device is same. The designed is almost identical except the fingerprint sensor that has been entirely disposed of. The back side has the same glass, and the color variants are the same too – Matte and Glossy Black.
The screen size has been updated to 6.41-inches with a higher 85.6% screen-to-body ratio. Protection over the screen is with Gorilla Glass 6. The camera remains the same, but the operating system is Android 9.0 Pie based OxygenOS. The OEM already planned to bring some improvement to the camera experience via software updates in the future.
The significant difference we can see is the edge-to-edge display that comes with a way smaller notch. Also, the all-new in-display fingerprint scanner is something fresh in the market.
