Though most of the user could not even get Android Oreo, Android P is here, and a glimpse has been given of it. Some of the latest features that were introduced with Oreo have undergone drastic improvements, and this ninth full version of the well known OS will also have the plethora of unique features.
NEW UPDATE: Android 9.0 Pie update: Install Project Treble [GSI] ROM right now!
In spite of all the positives that are promised by Android P, many are asking when it will be introduced. This question is difficult to answer for the timing of the actual update of Android P on their phones. But we can have an assumption based on our judgment about the expected time arrival of this latest OS on your Smartphone.
We have made a list of all the popular devices of Android in OEM wise that is speculated to get the Android P update. We, however, say that this is not the final list and if any changes occur, then we will continuously update about the latest device whenever we know.

All the devices of Asus that were released between 2017 to 2018 are speculated to get Android P update, even those with per installed Nougat. Our expectations are high for the Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 4 series, but the Zenfone 3 and the similar series of Zenfone 3s Max bundled up with the introductory Deluxe would not get the P update.

BlackBerry
The best devices of BlackBerry have almost become non-existent over the past few years, and the manufacturer has not been in the news in these days. The Oreo updates itself was done slowly by this company based in Canada. That means the scenario would be similar with Android P update too. If the BB does not have any surprise launch in the line, then probably the present devices also would not get the update.

However, this company which is owned by Lenovo has the probability of upgrading the plethora of its smartphone to P., But they will be mainly restricted to the Moto Z series. Oppo
When it comes to the update of software, then Oppo is not definitely the best one. Be it significant updates of OS or regular updates; the Chinese OEM undergoes very less amount of updates. If we observe this pattern, it is pronounced that the latest Oppo R11s Plus and Oppo R11 have almost mil chance of getting the Android P update.
However, if any miracle happens, we will be happy let you know about it. But for now, it is better to tick off Oppo smartphone if you are thinking to buy a smartphone with latest OS.
Update: So, the miracle that was expected has happened, thanks to the Oppo R15 Pro which is news for having eligibility of updating to Android P. If you want, you can already download the preview version of the OS in this Smartphone.

Samsung
Android P will be given to all the high budget phones of Samsung that were released between 2017 2018. We do not have the confirm news, but maybe some of the mid-budget Smartphone like Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ will have the Android P updates. Contrastingly all the Galaxy J and Galaxy S series that will be releasing this year with pre-install; led Android Oreo will be eligible for P update.
Samsung is planning to upgrade Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 to Oreo that was released three years ago. It implies that Galaxy S7 series will be gradually eligible for Android P. Our fingers are crossed for this assumption!
For now, it is wise to say that if you have top-notch Galaxy S7 and the series that were announced on and before 2016 will not get the update of Android P. If you do not have either Galaxy Note 8 or Galaxy S8 series, do not have a high hope even if your model is from 2017. Note 8 and S8 will definitely get P with S9 and S9+.

Sony
One of the non-Google OEM which is non-consistent in the matter of software update is Sony. The reason is that the manufacturer invests mainly in the AOSP. This will, it is hoped, will speed up the update of Android P.
Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 compact of this year will get the first update of Android P. They will be followed nearly by the similar model of 2017. However, there is no expectation of upgrading the Xperia X 2016. The positive thing is that the mid-budget smartphone of Xperia XA2 Ultra and Xperia XA2 will get the Android P at the beginning of 2019. There are possibilities that the 2018 smartphones of Sony will come up with pre-installed P.

Xiaomi
When it comes to software updates, sadly Xiaomi do not fare well. But the OEM of China is improving now. We are expecting multiple smartphones will be converted to Android P. However Xiaomi actually plans to update only a few of its Smartphone that will include Mi MIX 2 and Mi 6 of 2017.
The latest update that the 2016 OG Mi MIX, Mi Note 2 and Mi 5 will receive is the Android Oreo. Apart from these it is better not to expect the much loved Redmi Note 4 and latest Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 5 will have P update but will get an update to Oreo.

Only the most popular Smartphone manufacturers have been included in the list. Other companies like Micromax, Lava, Meizu, LeEco, Xolo, YU, etc. are excluded because these smartphones almost do not get updates.
